FAQ

Question - How do I use the Angler Alarms?

Answer - They are ready to use straight out of the box.

You need to "Shake to Connect" the Strike Alarm & Squid Float every time you start a fishing session.

Hold them both in one hand and shake 6 times. The Strike Alarm will sound 1, 2 or 3 beeps depending on the number of the Float you have connected.

You can fish for 6 hours and then both will switch off automatically.

Try to maintain a line of sight between the Strike Alarm and Monitor, especially if fishing Squid Floats at greater distances.

Question - How do the Angler Alarms work?

Answer - Once connected, the Strike Alarm will monitor the Squid Float signal and the beep when the Squid Float is submerged.

The Strike Alarm may also sound if the float gets too far away (more than 50 metres) or drifts under a concrete pier.

Question - What alarm signal does the Strike Alarm provide?

Answer - When a Squid Float is submerged the Strike Alarm will repeatedly sound 1, 2 or 3 beeps (depending on the number of the Float) every few seconds for up to 10 seconds and then stop. On resurfacing normal fishing use begins again
