The Sentri™ Squid Float and Strike Alarm is the world's only Bluetooth-enabled float monitoring system - and there's nothing else like it. Using Bluetooth Low Energy technology, the Strike Alarm listens continuously to a signal broadcast by the Squid Float. The moment your Squid Float is submerged by a strike, the Strike Alarm sounds the alarm. No guessing. No watching. No missed catches.

Setting up (10 seconds): Shake the Squid Float and Strike Alarm together (in one hand) 6 times and wait a few seconds for the confirmation beep.

• 1 beep from the Strike Alarm = Float 1 connected and ready

One monitor. Up to 3 floats. Always know which rod is hit: Repeat setup with same Alarm and second or third float.

• Float 1 → one repeating beep when struck
• Float 2 → two repeating beeps when struck
• Float 3 → three repeating beeps when struck

Checking a Squid Float during fishing: Shake any Squid Float on its own 6 times near the Strike Alarm and wait a few seconds for the confirmation beep/s - the Strike Alarm beeps back the Float's assigned number, confirming it is still connected and being monitored.

Smart alarm design: If a Squid Float becomes tangled on the bottom and/or stays submerged by a monster, the alarm sounds for 10 seconds then automatically stops. The moment the Squid Float resurfaces it resets and, when submerged again, the alarm sounds once more.

Checking battery level:

• Shake the Squid Float OR Strike Alarm alone 10 - 12 times
• A long beep = battery is good
• No beep = battery needs replacing

Coming soon: A dedicated Angler Alarms smartphone app is currently in development. The app will allow you to adjust Strike Alarm sensitivity and monitor battery status of your Squid Floats and Alarm.
